Thank you for purchasing my plugin. If you have any questions that are beyond the scope of this help file, please feel free to email via my user page contact form here. Thanks so much!
Follow the steps below to install the plugin
That was all! now you are ready to use the plugin!
It is nice to have great looking panels on your website but they are useless without content!
Adding content is easy, when you are in your wordpress CMS you navigate to Appereance -> Widgets there you will find 4 new widget areas:
You can fill those area's with every widget you like just like you would fill a sidebar or footer.
You can find the settings in your wordpress CMS under settings -> WP Off Canvas Panels when you go to this page you arive at the settings tab where you will see 4 categories:
When you click one of the categories you will see a number of settings, all categories have the same settings but they all apply to a different panel (left for the left panel, right for th right panel etc.)
Available settings per panel:The other tab on the settings page is the style editor here you can add, remove and change styles.
On top of this page you will find the new theme button, with this button you can add a new style.
Below the new theme button you will see a table with all the styles, here you can edit a style by clicking the edit button, copy a style by clicking the copy button or delete a style by clicking the delete button.
If you click the edit button from a style a new modal window will open with on the left side all elements you can style and on the right side a live preview.
When you click a element on the left side you will see a list of options that you can configure, next to each option you will see checkbox uncheck this box to disable this option.
When you click on a option the option settings will be visible here you can change everything about the selected option.
Finally when you are done configuring your style click on the save button in the bottom right corner to save your style and then you can use it for a panel!
When you have a nice style and you want to use it in a other website where you also use this plugin you can use the export and import tool, to export a style you simply click on the export button
The import tool is located at the bottom of the styles tab, here you can select the exported file and optional set a different title for the style
When you are using the style editor and you get the error: "The plugin folder is not writable." you need to make sure the plugin folder is writable (permission: 755) or at least that the wp-off-canvas-panels/css/styles folder is writable.
You can read more about setting file permissions here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions
If you have any questions, found a bug or having troubles with the plugin feel free to email me through my profile!
You could also send me an email when you feel there are missing some style options or if you have a good idea for an animation.
